About This Role
As a senior Fine Arts department role at Vidya Global School, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the Fine Arts department, shaping the curriculum, and driving academic excellence. Your role as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) will be pivotal in shaping the future of our students. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and creativity among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum ownership and development for Fine Arts subjects
- Mentoring and guiding junior staff members in Fine Arts department
- Ensuring board results for Fine Arts subjects are consistently high
- Developing and implementing innovative teaching methods for Fine Arts
- Coordinating with other departments to integrate Fine Arts with other subjects
- Participating in workshops and conferences to upgrade teaching skills
- Maintaining discipline and order in the Fine Arts classroom
- Conducting regular assessments and evaluations for Fine Arts students
- Providing feedback and guidance to students on their Fine Arts projects
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to plan and implement Fine Arts events.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Fine Arts. A Post Graduate degree in Fine Arts is highly desirable. A certification in TET/CTET is not mandatory but preferred.
Learning and Development
As a senior role, you will be groomed for a Vice Principal position at Vidya Global School. You will undergo training in leadership and management skills to prepare you for this role. You will also participate in workshops and conferences to upgrade your teaching skills and stay updated on the latest trends in Fine Arts education.
