Role Summary

Your Students
Our students come from diverse backgrounds, with many of them hailing from families with a strong connection to Meerut's rich historical past. They are eager to learn and explore the world around them, and we are looking for a teacher who can inspire and motivate them to achieve their full potential. As a PGT History Teacher, you will be working with students who are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging History lessons to students in Grades 9-12
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the UP Board and CBSE syllabi
- Encourage students to participate in History-related activities, projects, and competitions
- Engage with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and interests
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school projects and activities
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance and support in History teaching
- Develop and implement assessments and evaluations to measure student progress
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in History education and share knowledge with colleagues
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to History education
- Take an active role in school events, such as History fairs, competitions, and guest lectures
Eligibility
- Master's degree in History (or related field) with a B.Ed. degree
- 3 years of experience in teaching History (or related subject) in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of History curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and lead others
- Familiarity with UP Board and CBSE syllabi and assessment procedures
