Job Overview
As a PGT Political Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Political Science to senior secondary students at K.l. International School in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Political Science to senior secondary students at K.l. International School
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and exams
3. Assess and provide feedback to students on their performance
4. Develop and implement academic projects and activities to enhance student learning
5. Participate in academic planning and department-level meetings
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
7. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
8. Provide guidance and support to students on career choices and academic goals
9. Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns
Eligibility
Must Have:
- Master's degree in Political Science or related field (M.A. Political Science)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- NET/SET qualification (National Eligibility Test/State Eligibility Test)
- Experience of teaching in a senior secondary school for at least 3 years
- Valid TET/CTET certificate is not required for this position
Good to Have:
- M.Ed degree
- Experience of teaching in a CBSE-affiliated school
- Knowledge of NCERT curriculum and teaching materials
- Fluency in Hindi and English languages
- Experience of working in a school with a diverse student body
Preferred Skills
* Strong knowledge of Political Science and History
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
* Familiarity with educational technology and software
