- Develop and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and self-expression.
- Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and engage in parent-teacher conferences as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the English curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of all students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform teaching strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in English language teaching and learning, incorporating new ideas and approaches into the classroom.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you will need to have a postgraduate degree in English or a related field, such as B.Ed or M.Ed. You should also have a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English to primary school students, preferably in a school setting. While TET or CTET is not mandatory, a strong understanding of the Indian education system and curriculum is essential.
