Day-to-Day Duties
As a PRT Social Science Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering Social Science lessons to classes 1 to 5
- Creating engaging and interactive learning activities for students
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
- Maintaining a well-organized and safe classroom environment
- Communicating effectively with parents and other school staff
- Participating in school events and activities
- Preparing and distributing teaching materials and resources
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development programs
- Collaborating with other subject teachers to develop integrated lessons
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Science or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. You should also have a strong understanding of Social Science concepts and teaching methods. Experience working in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
