PRT Social Science Teacher Job in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Panchwati Schorlar Academy uses interactive smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school-wide LMS to keep Social Science lessons engaging. The PRT Social Science Teacher will plan and deliver lessons that blend these digital tools with traditional teaching methods. Classroom instruction will include map-based quizzes on smart boards and discussion forums in Google Classroom.
How You Will Teach
Social Science lessons will run on blended schedules, mixing live sessions with recorded lectures and LMS assignments. Smart board activities will include timeline building, regional map marking, and source-based questions. Google Classroom will host weekly quizzes, document analysis tasks, and peer-reviewed projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create weekly lesson plans in the LMS that align with NCERT Social Science syllabus for grades 6–8.
Upload lesson summaries, question banks, and model answers on Google Classroom by Sunday evening.
Conduct smart board sessions twice a week for map work, chart interpretation, and current-affairs discussions.
Grade assignments and quizzes within 48 hours and post feedback in the LMS gradebook.
Organize virtual guest lectures on local history and heritage once a month.
Run a monthly Social Science blog in the LMS where students contribute articles.
Coordinate inter-house Social Science quizzes and map-drawing competitions using digital templates.
Attend bi-weekly tech integration meetings to review LMS analytics and adjust teaching strategies.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Social Science or related field from a recognized university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree mandatory.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in middle school Social Science.
TET/CTET certification preferred but not compulsory.
What Makes You a Fit
