About This Role

The TGT Computer Science Teacher will lead these efforts in grades 6 to 10, ensuring every child develops strong computational thinking. How You Will Teach
Daily lessons will blend on-screen demonstrations with hands-on coding and hardware activities. Smart boards and Google Classroom will be used for assignments, quizzes, and project submissions. The school’s LMS tracks student progress, so you can tailor feedback and interventions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Plan weekly Computer Science lessons covering Python basics, logic gates, networking, and cyber safety for middle schoolers. Upload lesson recordings, assignments, and reference videos on the LMS for students to review at home. Conduct weekly practical sessions where students debug code, assemble simple circuits, and work on Raspberry Pi projects.
Grade periodic assessments aligned with CBSE guidelines and provide detailed feedback to students and parents. Organize inter-house coding competitions and IT fairs to showcase student projects. Collaborate with math and science teachers to integrate computational thinking into their subjects. Attend monthly tech integration meetings to share best practices and update digital resources. Supervise students during computer lab sessions to ensure safe and responsible use of technology. Prepare students for CBSE board practical exams with structured practice tests and revision sheets. Assist the school in maintaining updated software licenses and hardware inventories.
Eligibility
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA with B.Ed or M.Ed. Minimum 4 years of full-time teaching experience in Computer Science for classes 6 to 10. Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns preferred. Experience with smart classrooms and online teaching platforms is a plus.
