K.l. International School is looking for a qualified TGT Music Teacher in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh to join the faculty for Grades 6 to 10. Day-to-Day Duties
Teach music theory and practical sessions for classes 6 to 10 as per CBSE guidelines.
Design lesson plans that include vocal training, instrumental basics, and rhythmic exercises.
Organize periodic assessments to track student progress in music appreciation and skills.
Prepare students for school concerts, inter-house competitions, and cultural events.
Collaborate with art and physical education teachers for cross-curricular activities.
Maintain student records, attendance, and progress reports for parent-teacher meetings.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum development discussions.
Organize workshops or guest sessions with local artists to enrich learning.
Eligibility
Must Have
Post-graduate degree in Music (M.A. or M.Sc) from a recognized university.
Minimum three years of teaching experience in a secondary school.
B.Ed or M.Ed degree in Music Education.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
Good to Have
Experience with teaching Carnatic or Hindustani classical music.
Familiarity with Western music notation and instruments like keyboard or guitar.
Prior involvement in school-level music competitions or festivals.
Preferred Skills
Ability to engage middle and secondary school students in music learning.
Skill in using digital tools for music teaching, such as notation software or online resources.
Patience and creativity to handle diverse student interests in music.
