Responsibilities
Design and execute age‑appropriate exercise routines for students across grades. Coordinate inter‑school tournaments and internal competitions, maintaining records of participation and results. Provide individual guidance to students needing special coaching or injury rehabilitation. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into holistic learning plans. Monitor attendance, maintain discipline, and report incidents to administration. Participate in faculty meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and attend professional development workshops as required.
Qualification
B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. mandatory for teaching positions. TET/CTET preferred but not compulsory. Post‑graduate qualification in Physical Education or related field. Ability to demonstrate certification in sports coaching or fitness training is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching Physical Education at school level. Proven track record of organizing school sports events and mentoring students. Experience with modern fitness equipment and digital coaching tools is desirable.
Salary
Rs.21,000 - Rs.35,000 per month. Competitive package includes performance incentives and professional development allowance.
