About This Role
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 10, developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students.
2. Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding of Sanskrit language and literature.
3. Use a range of teaching methods, including practical activities, group discussions, and individualized instruction, to engage students and promote critical thinking and creativity.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum-based projects and activities that promote interdisciplinary learning.
5. Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect, empathy, and open communication among students.
6. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure that students receive the support and resources they need to succeed.
7. Stay up-to-date with developments in Sanskrit language and literature, and incorporate relevant and engaging content into lesson plans.
8. Participate in school-wide initiatives and activities that promote cultural awareness, language diversity, and academic excellence.
Eligibility
To be considered for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. You must also be a strong communicator and team player, with a passion for teaching and learning. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree is highly desirable.
