Pedagogy and Tools
In this role, you will be expected to use practical methods and tools to teach Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 8. This will include using the Sanskrit language to teach grammar, vocabulary, and literature, as well as utilizing visual aids and multimedia resources to make learning more engaging.
What You Will Do
* Prepare and deliver lessons on Sanskrit language, literature, and culture to students.
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide programs and events.
* Participate in professional development workshops and training programs.
* Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
* Assist students with assignments and projects outside of class.
* Develop and implement assessments to measure student learning.
* Communicate with colleagues and parents to share information about student progress.
Required Qualifications
* A post-graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
* A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is preferred.
* Teaching experience of at least 2 years is required.
* Experience of teaching Sanskrit in a school setting is preferred.
