About This Role
Bds International School welcomes fresh B.Ed graduates for the TGT Social Science Teacher Vacancy in Meerut. This is a full-time role for teaching classes 6 to 10 with scope to build conceptual understanding and practical skills in students. Training and mentorship are provided to help new teachers settle into the classroom environment smoothly.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Social Science lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum and school academic calendar. Conduct periodic assessments, analyze student performance, and suggest corrective measures for improvement. Organize map reading, project work, and discussion-based activities to make Social Science engaging. Collaborate with subject teachers during weekly planning meetings at Bds International School. Assist in preparing students for periodic tests and term-end examinations. Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive learning space for students from diverse backgrounds. Receive continuous feedback and guidance from senior teachers during the initial months.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics) with minimum 50% marks. B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Candidates appearing for TET or CTET will be given preference. Freshers with strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
