About This Role
Delhi Public Global School Moradabad seeks an experienced LIBRARIAN to manage and grow its library resources. The role is a full-time, non-teaching administrative position focused on cataloguing, circulation, and reader services. Day-to-Day Duties
1. Organise and maintain library books, journals, and digital resources in compliance with academic standards.
2. Operate and update the school’s integrated library management system daily.
3. Issue and return books efficiently while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
4. Plan and conduct regular reading programmes and library orientation for students.
5. Assist teachers in locating reference materials for classroom support.
6. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming library environment for all users.
7. Coordinate with external vendors for timely procurement of new titles.
8. Prepare monthly usage reports for school leadership review.
Required Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Diploma or certificate in Library Science preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and basic internet tools is essential. Experience with library automation software will be an advantage.

Three years of hands-on experience in a school or academic library setting. Strong organisational skills to handle multiple tasks such as stock verification and renewal of periodicals. Familiarity with Dewey Decimal or similar classification systems is highly desirable.
