What You Will Do
1. Teach music to students from class VI to XII, as per the CBSE curriculum.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations for music classes.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of students' progress.
4. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment in the music room.
5. Develop and implement music curricula that cater to diverse learning needs.
6. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.
7. Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess a post-graduate degree in music (any stream) from a recognized university. Additionally, a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is required for this teaching position. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching music at a senior secondary level is also required.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.40,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Other benefits include a comprehensive health insurance plan, a gratuity scheme, and a festival holiday package.
