Job Overview
Shri Vinayak Academy International Senior Secondary School is expanding its Physics department with a Post Graduate Teacher who can blend traditional pedagogy with digital tools. The role involves teaching Classes 11 and 12, preparing students for CBSE board exams and competitive tests like JEE Main. A strong foundation in mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics, and modern physics is expected. Experience in project-based learning and lab demonstrations is valued.
Teaching Approach
Smart boards and interactive simulations are used daily to explain complex concepts such as wave-particle duality and semiconductor devices. Google Classroom is the primary platform for distributing notes, assignments, and online quizzes. An LMS tracks student progress and shares recorded lectures for revision. Blended learning combines face-to-face instruction with self-paced digital modules. Regular formative assessments are conducted through online polls and digital worksheets.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Physics lessons aligned with the latest CBSE syllabus and NEP 2020 guidelines. Design and upload weekly assignments, lab manuals, and model test papers on Google Classroom. Conduct live doubt-clearing sessions on Google Meet for students needing extra support. Prepare students for practical exams by supervising lab work and maintaining digital lab records. Organize monthly physics fairs where students present working models and research posters. Integrate simulations from PhET and Labster to enhance conceptual clarity. Collaborate with the ICT team to troubleshoot hardware and software issues during online classes. Submit monthly progress reports to the academic coordinator via the school ERP system.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Physics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from an NCTE-recognized institution. Three years of full-time teaching experience in Physics at the senior secondary level. Prior experience with smart classrooms and online teaching platforms is preferred.
