Mit World School in Moradabad invites applications for a PRT Social Science Teacher position to strengthen its curriculum in humanities and social studies. This role requires a dedicated educator who can engage students with age-appropriate content on geography, history, civics, and economics while aligning with NCERT textbooks and state syllabi. The teacher will design interactive lessons that blend theory with practical examples, such as local history projects or community-based social studies activities, to foster critical thinking.
The PRT Social Science Teacher will oversee classroom instruction for classes VI to VIII, ensuring a structured yet dynamic approach to teaching. Emphasis will be on developing analytical skills through case studies, debates, and field visits, particularly in topics like Uttar Pradesh’s cultural heritage or contemporary socio-political issues. Assessment will include continuous evaluation through quizzes, essays, and project-based learning, with a focus on evaluating students’ understanding of historical events, geographical concepts, and democratic governance.
Qualified candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least a 2-year teaching experience in Social Science. A graduate background in relevant disciplines is mandatory.
