Role Summary
As a TGT Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students in classes 6-10, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver Biology lessons to students in classes 6-10
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching methods and technologies
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents regarding student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide decision-making processes
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Supervise students during laboratory experiments and activities
- Evaluate and recommend textbooks and resources for the Biology department
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. with a specialization in Biology or a related field
- TET or CTET certification is preferred, but not required
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Biology
- Strong knowledge of Biology curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Rs.15,000 - Rs.25,000 per month
