As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in integrating technology into our social science curriculum.
Pedagogy and Tools
We follow a child-centered approach to education, where students are encouraged to explore and learn through interactive methods. You will be expected to use digital tools and multimedia resources to make social science concepts more engaging and accessible to our students. Our classrooms are equipped with smart boards, which you will utilize to create interactive lessons and presentations.
What You Will Do
* Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that integrate technology and social science concepts
* Utilize Google Classroom to share resources, assignments, and feedback with students and parents
* Create multimedia resources, such as videos and podcasts, to support student learning
* Use our LMS to track student progress, assignment submissions, and grades
* Develop and implement online assessments and quizzes to evaluate student understanding
* Participate in staff meetings to discuss curriculum development, technology integration, and student progress
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, such as STEM programs and project-based learning
* Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help or have special needs
* Integrate social science concepts with other subjects, such as history, geography, and economics
Who Can Apply
To be considered for the TGT Social Science Teacher position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. A graduate degree in Social Science or a related field is required. While a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is preferred, it is not essential.
