Job Description
TGT Mathematics Teacher Job in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
About This Role
Delhi Public School Pilibhit believes every learner deserves a mathematics teacher who makes abstract concepts clear and builds confidence. The school seeks a Trained Graduate Teacher in Mathematics to guide students from diverse backgrounds through grades 6 to 8.
Who You Will Teach
You will teach students across Grades 6, 7, and 8 in Pilibhit, many of whom come from different socio-economic backgrounds. The classroom includes learners who need extra support as well as those who grasp concepts quickly, so differentiation is built into every lesson.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver Mathematics Teaching Job in Pilibhit that connects daily life to abstract formulas and theorems. Use real-world examples from local markets and agriculture to make algebra and geometry relatable.
Create daily lesson plans aligned to the CBSE curriculum while adjusting difficulty for mixed-ability groups. Use simple language and multiple representations—diagrams, manipulatives, and stories—so every child understands.
Assess learners through short quizzes, oral questions, and practical tasks rather than relying only on written tests. Share clear, actionable feedback with students and parents in simple Hindi or English.
Organize remedial sessions for students who struggle with foundational topics like fractions or linear equations. Encourage peer learning through group problem-solving so stronger students mentor others.
Integrate digital tools sparingly but effectively—projectors for visuals, simple apps for practice—while keeping screen time balanced. Use locally available resources like charts and locally made teaching aids.
Conduct regular parent-teacher interactions in Pilibhit to explain progress and suggest home-based support. Keep records of individual progress in a simple register or digital sheet.
Participate in school-wide academic events such as math fairs, quizzes, and inter-house competitions to spark interest. Support the school’s inclusive culture by adapting activities so students with different learning needs can participate fully.
Eligibility Criteria
You must hold a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required.
While CTET or TET certification is not mandatory, candidates with these qualifications will receive preference. Four years of classroom teaching experience in middle school Mathematics is essential.
Skills We Value
Strong grasp of middle-school mathematics—number systems, geometry, algebra, and data handling—is non-negotiable. Ability to explain complex ideas in simple language matters more than advanced theorems.
Patience and calmness are vital when students take time to grasp concepts. Clear, respectful communication with students, parents, and colleagues builds trust in the Pilibhit community.
What You Get
This full-time position offers a monthly salary between Rs.25,000 and Rs.45,000 based on qualifications and experience. The package includes standard benefits such as leave as per school calendar and access to school resources.
