PGT Physical Education Teacher Role at Laurels International School, Prayagraj
Laurels International School in Prayagraj is seeking a dedicated PGT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and develop students’ physical and mental well-being through engaging, structured programs. This full-time position focuses on designing and delivering high-quality PE lessons that align with school curriculum standards while fostering holistic growth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in lesson planning, assessment strategies, and tracking student progress to ensure meaningful learning outcomes.
A key responsibility is crafting detailed lesson plans that integrate age-appropriate activities, sports, and health education. These plans must reflect the school’s broader educational goals while ensuring practical, interactive, and safe execution. Experience in adapting activities for diverse student abilities will be highly valued.
Assessment design is another critical aspect of this role. The teacher will evaluate students through formative and summative assessments, such as skill tests, participation records, and performance evaluations. Clear, fair, and development-focused feedback will help students improve while tracking their progress over time.
Curriculum alignment ensures that PE activities complement other academic subjects and reinforce key learning objectives. The teacher will collaborate with school authorities to ensure that PE programs are cohesive with the overall educational framework, promoting both physical fitness and academic readiness.
For this role, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, with at least two years of teaching experience in Physical Education. While TET/CTET certification is not strictly required, it will be considered an advantage. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic school environment where creativity, dedication, and a passion for sports education are essential.
