Key Responsibilities

Lead funded research projects in avionics with emphasis on real-time embedded systems and sensor fusion. Publish original research in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Supervise Ph.D. scholars in avionics-related domains, ensuring timely progress and thesis submission.
Contribute to curriculum development by introducing emerging topics such as UAV avionics, ADS-B systems, and fly-by-wire technology. Organize national and international conferences, workshops, and short-term courses in avionics. Engage with industry partners for sponsored research and technology transfer.
Eligibility Criteria
A Ph.D. in Avionics, Aerospace Engineering, or Electronics Engineering is mandatory. Candidates with a post-doctoral fellowship or industry experience in avionics design will be preferred. UGC-NET with JRF or CSIR-NET qualification is required if Ph.D. is not completed.
Minimum 5 years of teaching and research experience in an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution is required. Proficiency in avionics simulation tools like MATLAB, LabVIEW, and FlightGear is essential. Demonstrated ability to secure external research funding from agencies like ISRO, DRDO, or DST is desirable.
