Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
As a PROFESSOR - Banking And Finance, you will be responsible for:
* Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Banking and Finance to students at United University.
* Conducting research in the field of Banking and Finance and publishing papers in reputable journals.
* Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
* Collaborating with colleagues in the department to develop new courses and programs.
* Participating in departmental and university-wide committees to contribute to policy-making and decision-making.
* Engaging in academic activities such as seminars, workshops, and conferences to promote the department's research and academic programs.
* Developing and maintaining a research agenda that aligns with the department's and university's strategic goals.
* Collaborating with industry partners and other stakeholders to promote the department's research and academic programs.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Banking and Finance or a related field is mandatory for this position. A post-doc experience would be an added advantage. UGC-NET with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is also desirable. The candidate should have a strong research background and a track record of publications in reputable journals.
Academic Projects
As a PROFESSOR - Banking And Finance, you will be expected to develop and manage academic projects that align with the department's and university's strategic goals. This may involve collaborating with colleagues in the department, industry partners, and other stakeholders to develop and fund research projects. You will also be expected to publish papers in reputable journals and present your research at conferences and seminars.
Ph.D. Supervision
As a PROFESSOR - Banking And Finance, you will be responsible for supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects. This will involve guiding them in developing their research proposals, collecting and analyzing data, and writing their thesis. You will also be expected to evaluate their progress and provide feedback on their research work.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position will be in the range of Rs.60,000 - Rs.90,000 per month, as per UGC norms. You will also be eligible for research grants and other benefits as per university policies.
