- Providing guidance to UG and PG students for their projects, thesis, and dissertation.
- Organizing workshops, conferences, and seminars on Bioprocess Engineering.
Master Level Teaching
The incumbent will be expected to teach master level courses, such as:
- Bioprocess Engineering Design
- Downstream Processing
- Fermentation Technology
- Bioseparations
- Bioreactor Design and Operation
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess:
- A Ph.D. in Bioprocess Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualification (if Ph.D. not completed).
- A strong research background with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Teaching experience of at least 5 years in a university or college.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Learning and Development
To enhance career advancement and promotion, the incumbent will be required to:
- Maintain a high API score (as per UGC norms) by publishing research papers in reputed journals.
- Participate in academic and administrative committees of the university.
- Attend national and international conferences, workshops, and seminars to update knowledge.
Salary and Benefits
The appointee will receive a salary of Rs.70,000 - Rs.120,000 per month, along with allowances as per UGC regulations.
