What You Will Do
As a PROFESSOR - Cloud Computing, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cloud Computing
- Conducting research in Cloud Computing and publishing papers in top-tier journals
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects
- Collaborating with other departments and institutions on research projects
- Developing and managing academic programs in Cloud Computing
- Providing academic and research guidance to junior faculty members
- Serving on departmental and university committees
- Participating in curriculum development and reform
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
- A strong research background in Cloud Computing
- Postdoctoral experience is preferred
- UGC-NET with JRF is desirable
- A strong teaching and research record
Academic Projects
As a PROFESSOR - Cloud Computing, you will be expected to:
- Develop and lead collaborative research projects with industry partners
- Secure research grants from government and private organizations
- Publish papers in top-tier journals and conferences
- Participate in academic and research workshops and conferences
Doctoral Guidance
You will be responsible for guiding doctoral students in their research projects and evaluating their theses. As a guide, you will:
- Mentor students in their research projects
- Provide academic and research guidance to students
- Evaluate student theses and progress reports
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.70,000 - Rs.120,000 per month as per UGC norms. In addition, the candidate will be eligible for research grants and other benefits as per university policies.
