What You Will Do

Guide Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. students in their academic projects, dissertations, and research publications. Supervise laboratory work and encourage innovation in communication technologies.
Participate in academic administration by serving on departmental committees, contributing to syllabus revisions, and representing the university at conferences and industry forums.
Engage in collaborative research with faculty across departments and external partners. Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at national and international conferences.
Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enhance student learning and industry engagement. Develop industry-academia partnerships for internships, projects, and placements.
Mentor junior faculty and support their professional development through training and collaborative initiatives. Contribute to the university’s outreach programs and community engagement activities.
Ensure compliance with academic policies, ethical standards, and accreditation requirements set by regulatory bodies.
Eligibility Criteria
A Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university is mandatory. Candidates must have at least five years of teaching or research experience at the university level.
Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience in communication systems, signal processing, or wireless networks. Publications in reputed journals and patents in communication technologies are desirable.
NET/SLET qualification is required if the Ph.D. is not completed. Compliance with UGC norms for appointment as Professor is essential.
