Day-to-Day Duties
As a PROFESSOR in Consumer Behavior, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Consumer Behavior to students of the Department of Management Studies.
- Developing and implementing research projects in Consumer Behavior, collaborating with national and international partners.
- Publishing research papers in top-tier journals in the field of Consumer Behavior.
- Supervising Ph.D. students in Consumer Behavior and guiding them in their research projects.
- Evaluating student performance and providing feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Participating in departmental and university-wide activities, such as seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Collaborating with other faculty members to develop and implement new academic programs.
- Engaging in continuous professional development, staying updated with the latest research trends and methodologies in Consumer Behavior.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a PhD in Consumer Behavior or a related field. A post-doctoral experience will be considered an asset. The candidate must have a strong record of research and publications in top-tier journals. UGC-NET with JRF is mandatory for Assistant Professor, and NET/SLET is required if PhD is not completed. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching and research experience.
