Supervise laboratory work related to analytical techniques such as GC-MS, HPLC, and spectroscopy. Organize seminars, workshops, and invited talks by experts from industries and research institutions.
Master Level Teaching
Develop and teach specialized master level courses such as Advanced Environmental Analytical Techniques and Environmental Impact Assessment. Guide students in designing research projects, conducting field surveys, and compiling dissertations under the Environmental Chemistry program. Encourage innovation in addressing local environmental challenges in Uttar Pradesh.
Facilitate thesis supervision for M.Sc. students and coordinate with external experts for collaborative research initiatives. Ensure alignment of master level curriculum with current industry standards and regulatory frameworks. Promote interdisciplinary research linking chemistry with ecology and public health.
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry or a closely related discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. NET/SLET qualification is mandatory for candidates without a Ph.D., as per UGC guidelines. A minimum of 5 years of teaching and research experience in Environmental Chemistry at the university level.
Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus/Web of Science, with at least 5 research papers in the last five years. Demonstrated experience in securing research grants or leading funded projects in environmental science. Familiarity with UGC norms for faculty appointments and academic governance.
