What You Will Do

* Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research endeavors, ensuring that they achieve academic excellence.

* Collaborate with colleagues from other departments, such as Economics, Business Administration, and Law, to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
* Develop and implement new courses and programs in Labour Law, aligning them with the needs of the industry and society.
* Stay updated with the latest developments in Labour Law, both nationally and internationally, and incorporate this knowledge into teaching and research.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Labour Law or a related field is mandatory for this position. A post-doctoral experience will be preferred, with a strong track record of research and publications. The candidate must have cleared the UGC-NET, with a JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) to be eligible for this position. A strong background in Labour Law, with expertise in areas such as employment law, labour market policies, and social security, is essential.
Research & Publications
The successful candidate will be expected to develop a research program that aligns with the strengths of the Labour Law Department at United University. This may involve collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects, securing funding from external agencies, and publishing research papers in high-impact journals. The candidate should have a strong publication record, with a minimum of three research papers published in peer-reviewed journals in the past five years.
Doctoral Guidance
As a Professor, the successful candidate will be expected to guide doctoral students in their research endeavors. This will involve supervising Ph.D. students, evaluating their research proposals, and guiding them in their thesis writing. The candidate should have a strong track record of doctoral supervision, with at least two Ph.D. students graduating under their supervision in the past five years.
