Key Responsibilities
- Teach Machine Design courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students, including lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
- Advise students on research projects, guide them in research papers, and encourage them to participate in national and international conferences.
- Develop and implement curriculum for Machine Design courses, in line with UGC norms and industry requirements.
- Conduct research in Machine Design and publish papers in reputed international journals.
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop projects and internships that provide hands-on experience to students.
- Participate in academic administration, including committee work, departmental meetings, and student evaluations.
- Develop and manage research grants and projects, including collaborations with international institutions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Machine Design and incorporate them into teaching and research.
Required Qualifications
We seek a PhD holder from a recognized university in Machine Design or a related field. Industry experience is preferred, but not essential. If you are an emerging scholar, a strong research background and a good teaching record will be considered. A NET/SLET qualification is required for Assistant Professor positions if the PhD is not completed.
