What You Will Do
As a PROFESSOR of Media Ethics at United University, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Media Ethics, using innovative pedagogies and curriculum design
- Conducting research in Media Ethics, publishing papers in international and national journals, and presenting at conferences
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects
- Evaluating theses and dissertations in Media Ethics, adhering to UGC norms
- Contributing to the development of new courses and programs in Media Ethics
- Collaborating with colleagues across departments to develop interdisciplinary research projects
- Participating in academic and administrative activities of the Department and University
- Engaging with external stakeholders, industry partners, and media professionals to promote the Department's research and academic activities

The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Media Studies or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching and research. A postdoctoral research experience is preferred. The candidate should also have UGC-NET qualification with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or equivalent. The candidate should be well-versed in research methods, academic writing, and pedagogy.
