What You Will Do

Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical assessments.
Prepare and update syllabi as per INC and UGC standards for Medical Surgical Nursing programs. Develop teaching aids, case studies, and simulation-based learning modules for better student engagement. Supervise student projects and internships in medical surgical wards.
Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Organize workshops and guest lectures by senior nurses and medical professionals. Maintain clinical liaison with hospitals like Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital and MLN Medical College for practical training.
Master Level Teaching
At the master’s level, design and deliver advanced courses in Critical Care Nursing, Oncology Nursing, and Cardio-Thoracic Nursing. Supervise MSc Nursing dissertations and guide students in publishing research in peer-reviewed journals.
Offer specialized electives such as Geriatric Nursing and Palliative Care Nursing. Organize seminars and conferences on emerging trends in medical surgical nursing practice. Mentor postgraduate students in clinical leadership and evidence-based practice projects.
Required Qualifications
PhD in Nursing with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. Candidates must have 5 years of teaching experience in Medical Surgical Nursing at a university or college level. Must have qualified UGC-NET or CSIR-NET or SLET with a valid score.
Minimum 8 research publications in peer-reviewed journals as first or corresponding author. Experience in curriculum design, accreditation processes, and clinical teaching supervision is essential. Familiarity with INC norms and UGC regulations for nursing education is required.

What You Get
