Contribute to grant writing and project proposals to secure external funding for NLP research. Mentor junior faculty and research associates in the department’s ongoing initiatives.
Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration with computer science, linguistics, and cognitive science departments at United University. Organize workshops and seminars on emerging topics in NLP.
Eligibility Criteria
A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field is mandatory for this Professor position. Post-doctoral research experience is preferred, especially in NLP or AI.
Candidates must have cleared UGC-NET with JRF or hold a Ph.D. from a recognized university. A minimum of five years of teaching and research experience in NLP is required.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Familiarity with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Hugging Face is desirable.
