About This Role
United University in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh invites applications for the post of PROFESSOR Pharmacology Mbbs Vacancy in Prayagraj as per UGC norms. The selected candidate will join the Department of Pharmacology Mbbs in Prayagraj, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh as a Professor of Pharmacology Mbbs. He/She will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Pharmacology Mbbs.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Pharmacology Mbbs.
- Guide postgraduate students in master level courses and research projects.
- Develop and implement course curriculum for Pharmacology Mbbs.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects.
- Conduct research in Pharmacology Mbbs and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the University.
- Provide academic guidance to junior faculty members.
- Participate in the development of the department and the University.
Postgraduate Students
- Guide postgraduate students in master level courses in Pharmacology Mbbs.
- Supervise research projects of postgraduate students in Pharmacology Mbbs.
- Evaluate research papers and theses of postgraduate students in Pharmacology Mbbs.
- Provide academic guidance to postgraduate students in Pharmacology Mbbs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology Mbbs or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualification or Ph.D. with 55% marks.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals in Pharmacology Mbbs.
- Experience of at least 5 years in teaching and research in Pharmacology Mbbs.
Learning and Development
- Maintain an API score of 3.0 for promotion to Associate Professor.
- Participate in workshops and conferences in Pharmacology Mbbs.
- Publish papers in peer-reviewed journals in Pharmacology Mbbs.
- Guide students for national and international competitive examinations.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Rs.60,000 - Rs.120,000 per month.
- Allowances as per UGC norms.
- Other benefits as per University rules and regulations.
