About This Role
United University invites applications from highly qualified and experienced Pharmacology PROFESSORs to teach and conduct research in the Department of Pharmacology. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic excellence of the institution by teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, guiding research projects, and publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals.
What You Will Do
- Teach Pharmacology courses to undergraduate students, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacology of different systems.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, and practicals for postgraduate students, including research methodology and experimental design.
- Guide research projects for postgraduate students, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Develop and implement curriculum for Pharmacology courses, including syllabus, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Conduct internal and external academic audits, ensuring compliance with UGC and state government regulations.
- Participate in faculty development programs, staying updated with the latest developments in Pharmacology.
- Collaborate with other departments in the university to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Pharmacology, including advanced pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, and pharmacoeconomics.
- Guide research projects for master level students, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Develop and implement curriculum for master level Pharmacology courses, including syllabus, teaching materials, and assessments.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for the PROFESSOR Vacancy in Uttar Pradesh, candidates must have a Ph.D. in Pharmacology with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates who have completed their Ph.D. but do not have NET/SLET qualifications must have published papers in peer-reviewed journals.
