PROFESSOR - Philosophy in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh | University Recruitment — Applications invited as per UGC norms.
Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
1. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Philosophy, including core and elective courses as per the University curriculum.
2. Develop and maintain curriculum for UG and PG courses in Philosophy, in line with the UGC norms.
3. Guide research projects for MPhil and PhD students, as per the University guidelines.
4. Conduct research in Philosophy, publish papers in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in national and international conferences.
5. Participate in academic and administrative activities of the University, including committee assignments and departmental meetings.
6. Supervise dissertation work of PG students, ensuring quality and academic rigor.
7. Develop and maintain a strong network with academic institutions and industries, to provide opportunities for students.
8. Foster a culture of academic excellence and critical thinking in the Department of Philosophy.
PG Class Profile
The Master's programme in Philosophy at United University offers specialization in areas like Indian Philosophy, Western Philosophy, and Ethics. The programme aims to equip students with advanced knowledge and research skills in Philosophy.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a PhD degree in Philosophy with a minimum of 55% marks. A valid UGC-NET/SET/SLET score is also required.
