Key Responsibilities
As a PROFESSOR in the Renewable Energy department, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in renewable energy, including solar energy, wind energy, and energy storage.
- Conducting cutting-edge research in renewable energy, with a focus on innovative technologies and applications.
- Publishing research papers in top-tier journals, with a minimum of 10 publications in the last 5 years.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
- Collaborating with other faculty members to develop new research initiatives and secure funding opportunities.
- Serving on departmental and university committees, contributing to policy development and academic governance.
- Participating in academic and professional development activities, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in renewable energy.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A Ph.D. in Renewable Energy or a related field from a recognized university.
- A strong research background, with a minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral experience.
- UGC-NET or UGC-CSIR NET with JRF is preferred, but not mandatory.
- A strong teaching and research record, with a proven ability to publish high-impact research papers.
