Guide Ph.D. scholars in their thesis work, ensuring original contributions and timely progress. Evaluate doctoral dissertations and serve on departmental committees for research quality and curriculum updates.
Organize seminars, workshops, and hackathons in robotics to engage students and industry partners. Promote innovation through student clubs and inter-university competitions.
Facilitate partnerships with robotics labs in IITs, NITs, and CSIR institutes for joint research and faculty exchange. Support United University’s participation in national robotics challenges and expos.
Assess and mentor junior faculty members in teaching and research methodologies. Contribute to the university’s strategic planning for robotics education and infrastructure development.
Eligibility Criteria
A Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. Post-doctoral research or industrial experience in robotics is highly preferred.
Candidates must have cleared UGC-NET with JRF or hold a Ph.D. from a UGC-recognized institution. A minimum of 5 years of teaching or research experience in robotics is required.
