What You Will Do

Organize seminars, workshops, and invited talks to promote statistical literacy and interdisciplinary research. Collaborate with departments such as Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics for joint projects.
Facilitate student participation in national conferences like ISI and IMS events. Encourage undergraduate projects in statistical computing using R, Python, and SAS.
Develop problem-solving modules for competitive exams and placement training. Contribute to curriculum revision committees and academic audits.
Engage with industry partners for consultancy projects in data analytics and quality control. Represent United University at national academic forums and policy discussions.
Maintain high standards of teaching through continuous assessment and student feedback.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Statistics or allied fields is mandatory for the PROFESSOR position at United University. A minimum of five years of teaching and research experience in a recognized university or institution is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with post-doctoral research experience or international exposure in advanced statistical methods. UGC-NET with JRF or equivalent qualification is desirable for candidates without a Ph.D.
Candidates must have a strong publication record in Scopus/WoS-indexed journals. Experience in guiding M.Phil. or Ph.D. scholars is essential.
