TGT Science Teacher at Laurels International School, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh
Teaching
Deliver the Science curriculum to Classes VI‑X as per NCERT guidelines, using interactive methods and practical demonstrations. Foster curiosity and scientific thinking through lab work and project‑based learning.
Planning
Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and resource materials aligned with syllabus outcomes. Coordinate with senior faculty to integrate interdisciplinary themes where appropriate.
Assessment
Design and conduct formative and summative assessments, evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.
Student Support
Mentor students on academic queries, guide laboratory safety practices and encourage participation in science fairs and exhibitions. Offer extra help sessions for those needing additional support.
Coordination
Collaborate with department heads for curriculum updates and school events. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Science with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference given to candidates with TET/CTET certification.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school setting, handling Science subjects for middle and secondary classes.
Salary
Rs.20,000 – Rs.38,000 per month
