About This Role
As a PRT Dance Teacher at St. Xavier International School, you will be responsible for teaching dance to students from kindergarten to grade 8. This is a unique opportunity to share your passion for dance with young minds and help them develop their physical and creative skills. With a focus on practical learning, you will design and deliver engaging dance lessons that cater to different learning styles.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dance lessons to students from kindergarten to grade 8
- Develop and implement dance curricula that align with school standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure integrated learning
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Supervise students during dance performances and events
- Attend training sessions to update dance teaching skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. with a specialization in Dance or a related subject
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching dance to students of different age groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits
As a PRT Dance Teacher at St. Xavier International School, you will receive a salary of Rs.20,000 - Rs.30,000 per month. Other benefits include:
