Mentor students in performance skills, including choreography, technique, and stage presence, while maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment. Organize school events, competitions, and cultural festivals featuring dance performances to promote extracurricular engagement. Collaborate with the arts department to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects, such as theater productions or school events. Ensure proper use of dance equipment and facilities, including props, costumes, and rehearsal spaces, while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization or relevant experience in dance education. A strong foundation in dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or contemporary styles is essential. Experience in teaching dance to students aged 10-18 years is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in dance, preferably in a school or educational institution. Familiarity with curriculum development for dance programs is a plus. Experience in training students for competitions or performances would be advantageous.
Salary and Employment
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.34,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, along with full-time employment at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School.
