Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Mathematics curriculum that aligns with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines
- Teach Mathematics to classes IX-XII, creating engaging lesson plans and assessments to ensure academic growth
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, providing support and feedback to enhance their teaching skills
- Conduct regular meetings with the Vice Principal to discuss departmental progress and challenges
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence
- Analyze and improve Mathematics board results, identifying areas of improvement and implementing strategies to enhance student performance
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress
- Participate in school events and activities, showcasing Mathematics in a fun and interactive way
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and amendments, ensuring that the department is always prepared
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role
- Preference will be given to candidates with a NET or SET qualification
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and examination patterns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
