Assess students’ progress through regular observation and provide constructive feedback. Prepare students for external dance competitions and showcase their talents in school exhibitions. Maintain discipline and safety during dance sessions, ensuring proper warm-up and cool-down routines.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance themes into cross-curricular activities. Keep updated records of attendance, lesson plans, and student participation for reporting.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with a degree in Dance or Performing Arts are eligible. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for PRT roles. Prior teaching experience of at least 3 years in a school environment is required. Experience in choreography and stage performances will be given preference.
Candidates with proficiency in Indian classical, folk, or contemporary dance forms are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of music, rhythm, and basic anatomy for dance is desirable. Familiarity with classroom management and student engagement strategies is necessary.
