About This Role
As a PRT Science Teacher at Socratic School Of India, you will be responsible for teaching Science to students from Class VI to X. Your expertise in Science will help students develop a strong foundation in the subject, preparing them for further education and their future careers. You will be expected to teach Science in a way that is engaging, interactive, and tailored to the needs of your students.
What You Will Do
- Teach Science to students from Class VI to X
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate scientific concepts
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement classroom activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary curricula
- Use technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to Science teaching
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development programs
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. in Science or a related field
- TET or CTET certification (not mandatory but preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
- Experience in teaching Science to students from Class VI to X
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
