Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver engaging Botany lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and state board standards.
2. Create and maintain comprehensive lesson plans, including practical experiments and field studies relevant to local flora and ecosystems.
3. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, using both written and practical assessments.
4. Foster a collaborative relationship with other teachers to enhance interdisciplinary learning in science subjects.
5. Participate in school events, workshops, and teacher training sessions to stay updated on educational trends.
6. Guide students in understanding the practical applications of Botany, such as agriculture, environmental conservation, and biotechnology.
7. Ensure classroom management that promotes a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
8. Assist in organizing science fairs, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities related to Botany.
9. Review and update textbooks, lab manuals, and teaching aids to ensure modern and effective learning resources.
10. Collaborate with the principal and academic staff to implement innovative teaching methodologies in Botany.
