Role Introduction
R.a.v Central Academy in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh is hiring a TGT Social Science Teacher. The candidate will deliver the Social Science curriculum to secondary students on a full‑time basis.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Social Science lessons for classes IX and X in accordance with the prescribed NCERT syllabus.
- Prepare teaching aids, worksheets and visual materials to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, tests, projects and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance registers and update class records regularly.
- Conduct remedial sessions for students who need additional support in history, geography, civics or economics.
- Organize co‑curricular activities such as debates, model parliaments and field trips to enrich learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school development programmes.
- Ensure classroom discipline and create a safe, inclusive environment for all learners.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑subject themes and interdisciplinary projects.
- Keep abreast of latest educational resources and incorporate relevant technology where feasible.
- Uphold the school’s values and policies while fostering a culture of curiosity and critical thinking.
Qualification, Experience, Salary, Location
The candidate must be a graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and possess at least 2 years of teaching experience in Social Science at the secondary level. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET. The monthly remuneration is Rs.16,000 – Rs.30,000. The position is based in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, on a full‑time basis.
