Job Description
PRT Dance Teacher Position at Aastha Public School in Sonbhadra
Aastha Public School invites applications for a full-time PRT Dance Teacher role to join their vibrant arts program in Sonbhadra. This position focuses on integrating dance as a creative and physical subject for students, fostering cultural expression and discipline.
The successful candidate will lead daily dance classes, including traditional, contemporary, and rhythmic styles, while ensuring alignment with school curriculum standards. Teaching experience in a school setting is essential, particularly in engaging students aged 6 to 12 years.
A graduate degree with a minimum of two years of teaching experience is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not strictly required, it will be an added advantage for classroom authority and subject expertise.
Daily planning and preparation of lesson plans, including assessments and student progress tracking, will be part of the responsibilities. The role also involves collaborating with other arts faculty to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
