Role Summary
As a PRT Science Teacher at Swamy Sathyananda Saraswathy Senior Secondary School, you will be responsible for teaching Science to students from classes 6 to 10. You will plan and deliver engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Science lessons to students from classes 6 to 10, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Prepare and distribute learning materials, such as worksheets, exercises, and projects, to support student learning.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and exams, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Use multimedia resources, such as videos, simulations, and interactive software, to enhance student learning.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Science projects and activities that integrate with other subjects.
- Provide guidance and support to students who require additional help or have special needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in school events and activities that promote Science education and awareness.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Science education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you should have a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree and a strong background in Science. A TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not required. You should have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in a government or government-aided institution. You should be fluent in Hindi and English, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
