1. Plan and deliver comprehensive science lessons for classes 6 to 10, aligning with state standards.
2. Design and supervise laboratory experiments that encourage critical thinking and safety.
3. Assess student progress through quizzes, projects, and practical tests, providing constructive feedback.
4. Collaborate with teachers across subjects to integrate interdisciplinary learning experiences.
5. Maintain accurate attendance, grade records, and lesson plans in the school management system.
6. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
7. Mentor junior teachers and support student science clubs and competitions.
8. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and respect for scientific methodology.
Qualifications and Experience
Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Strong command of scientific concepts, laboratory techniques, and student engagement strategies is essential. Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and to utilize digital tools for interactive learning is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to student growth.
Salary and Location
