NTT English Teacher Position at Sneha Doon Academy, Dehradun
Sneha Doon Academy in Dehradun seeks an experienced NTT (Non-Teaching Staff) English Teacher to support the school’s language curriculum. This role involves delivering structured English language instruction aligned with the Uttarakhand Board’s syllabus, ensuring students develop foundational literacy, grammar, and communication skills.
The teacher will prepare and conduct NTT-level classes (typically for Classes I-V) with a focus on phonics, vocabulary building, and basic comprehension exercises. Daily lesson planning, including interactive activities and simple assessments, will be a core responsibility. You’ll also assist in creating supplementary materials like worksheets, storybooks, and audio-visual aids to enhance learning.
Assessment tasks include evaluating students’ writing samples, oral presentations, and participation in group discussions. Practical work may include designing short-term projects, such as storytelling sessions or role-play exercises, to reinforce classroom learning. Collaboration with the English faculty will ensure cohesive teaching strategies across the school.
For this position, a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not strictly required, it will be highly advantageous. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in an English-medium school, is preferred. The role offers a competitive salary of Rs.13,000 to Rs.22,000 per month, along with a location in the scenic hill town of Dehradun.
